Twilight 1-13-10
I hope this is the start of a very productive and information and friendly blog. I recently became a "Twi-hard", "Twerd" or "Fanpire" whichever the name is these days. Here is a tad bit of information about me then I will get right on about Rob, Kristen and all the Twight information that I want to blog about. First of all, I named this Twilight again because what I plan on doing is writing alittle bit every night at Twilight so hence...Twilight AGAIN. Ok, I am a 36 year old single mother of 2. My son is 16 and daughter is 14. I am very down to earth, an accountant so really just boring. I do not blog. This is my first one and since I felt to drawn to this story I though I would blog about this. My kids laugh when I go on and on about anything Twilight but they let me go since they see the sincerilty in my eyes. I live in a small town where unfortunately everyone knows everyone. There is never any excitement here so you can see how a series of books can respark the life in me. This is how it happened. It was the week before Thanksgiving, you could not turn the TV on without see something about New Moon, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart or Taylor Lautner. You could not check out with seeing them on the cover of any given magazine and my daughter and her friends had a countdown to a movie I had no knowledge of. Well, the house was empty and logging onto the internet was the last straw. The curiosity was killing me. I went into my daughter's room took her copy of Twilight and threw it into my dvd player. I was captivated. I could not take my eyes off the tv and my heart just melted out of my pinky toe. I was 14 all over again. I longed for the love that poured out of my tv. Well, I watched it twice. I downloaded the soundtrack that night and was beyond addicted. However I was still very much in the dark. I did not know there were 3 other books that followed this movie and I learned the next day that New Moon was the movie that the countdown was for. Well my daughter, her friend and myself stood in line for almost 2 hours to see New Moon that very weekend. It was just as good as the first. I went again with my daughter and step daughter and again with my nephew then one last time before it was pulled just last night. So after my first time seeing it, my daughter explain in the car ride home that there were 4 books in all and the next 2 were already out in bookstores, again, I must have been living under a rock. I drove from the movie store to Borders to get Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I had Eclipse read in 3 days and Breaking Dawn took a week only because I slowed myself down towards the end because I did not want it to be over. I must have felt every emotion under the sun during those books. I am Stefanie Meyer's biggest fan. I can talk about this story for an eternity. To me, it is the greatest love story ever told. I love Kristen's abilty to act and bring this charater to life and I just adore Robert and what he had done. I am also a real genuine fan of Robert's music. So much that it has inspired me to start playing piano again and even take guitar lessons. Music and writing are 2 of my greatest passions and I added the Twilight Saga as my 3rd. That is what leads me to this. I am going to try and tackle everything I can possibly think about this story. It may seem like I will be jumping all over the place but as much feedback as I get the better this will be. I will actually talk about anything, even new movies the stars are currently starring in. Hopefully this will help with me carrying on with what this story has left me with, love compassion and the ability to make a decision and stick with it until the end...never let love die.
